LUCY!!!!! Lucy is now officially the laziest person in the UNIVERSE!!! The tournament was held today at the Melbourne Sports and Aquatics Centre, and continued all the way through the city and all the way to Overlord's house, where the contestants were finally allowed to collapse in a chair and eat food!
Firstly, I got the contestants to play badminton (and mum and I played too) and we played 3 games. First game - Overlord and Shelfnut v. Mum and Fishie: 15 - 12 (I think) with the Overlord-Shelfnut team winning! Second game - Overlord and Mum v. Fishie and Shelfnut: 15 - 8 (I think) with the Fishie-Shelfnut team winning (hmm.... I seem to be winning everything). Third game (and this was the true competition) - Overlord v. Fishie! This game was to decide the winner of the Laziness competition! The loser would undoubtedly be the laziest person in the world!
Overlord started off strongly, leaving the poor Fishie struggling to gain even a point. At 8-0, it looked as if Fishie was doomed to a life of laziness. However, Fishie fought back, slowly gaining one point and then another until she had quite a respectable score. Overlord, unwilling to claim the Laziness Crown, fought back and soon the score was 14 - 8! The poor Fishie was unable to make a come back, and Overlord won: 15 - 8!
Lucy was now the Queen of Laziness, and set about proving why she came to hold such a title. Holding onto my arm for support (not to mention the fact that I would then half-drag her along, so she wouldn't have to walk) she paraded down the street as unbalanced as she could as we searched for sushi. We continued down the street in search of pencil lead (because Lucy, who always steals mine, had taken one of my last pieces of lead..... and I gave her some for Christmas so she wouldn't steal mine anymore!!!! (It seems my plans never work...)) and Lucy wanted to buy some paper for her folder. But when we finally found the paper, she didn't want to buy it because 'she would have to carry it home'. LAZINESS!!!!
By this time, the two contestants were feeling tired and wanted to go home, but the poor Shelfnut needed to go to the toilet and found one in a bookshop. Here the problem arose. There were steps leading downwards into the bookshop (you know... bookshop was downstairs in a basement type thing) which were fine for walking down, but poor Fishie lacked the energy to climb back up them! (And need I tell you who pulled Lucy up the stairs???)

Even Overlord isn't THAT lazy!!!

So... we had planned to return to my house, but I didn't have a key (silly me), so when we got to my house I could not get in, and no one was home. So again, we all had to walk...... to Overlord's house! (Not that I minded, but the poor Fishie looked about to die....) So, when at last we all reached Overlord's house, we were faced with yet another obstacle: STAIRS! The Fishie struggled up the stairs, I would say at snail pace, but given that she's a fish it must be the pace of a fish. At last the ordeal was over! Fishie could sit and drink and eat.... and play games! Games that only required the movement of one's fingers!

So..... do you agree that the world's laziest person is indeed the laziest person you've ever heard of?

The Laziest people in the Universe.....

.... are going to play Badminton tomorrow! WHEEEEEEE!!!!

Ok.... you might be wondering who these lazy people are.... (although, I must say, it's pretty easy to guess).

Ok.... laziest person in the universe contestant 1: It is she who sits upon her dark throne of evil and glares down at her minions (or in some cases, up) and sends them off to accomplish her evil plans. She hates the sun, for she likes her life in the shadows. She, unlike her equally lazy friend the Fish, does not walk home or catch public transport, but is driven all but 4 and a bit blocks to her house! (ok... I must admit, my house is closer, but at least I walk there!!!) Often, when a suggestion is made, you will hear the whine of 'but that involves walking!' Of all the lazy people in the world, she is indeed one of the laziest, rivalled only by the Fish who could at least plead the unwillingness to walk is because fish have no legs.

And we have laziest person in the universe contestant no. 2: This Fish, who has become so lazy as to need help walking up the stairs (and may I just say.... I'm the one who pulls her up the stairs or hurries her up whenever she walks along at snail pace). She, who will never bring her books to class when she knows that Shelfnut will bring them too (very annoying, especially when we have biology and the general maths, and I bring books and she brings none) The fish, who lives on the outer suburbs, is often heard complaining about the long trip home and the agonising walk to collect her brother from school (only to get there and find that someone else has already been and collected him). The Fish, who dislikes work in all forms, and will often say 'Work? What work?'. This Fish has no balance to speak of, and it is not impossible to push her over by poking her. She will often hang on people's arms to aid her in walking, not because anything is wrong with her legs but because she cannot be bothered standing up properly. An excellent contestant in this competition, and well placed to win. The only thing in her way at the moment is her evil Overlord, and this competition between the minion and her Overlord will be a close one.

Ok.... so who do you think is the lazier one? All I can say is.... it's not me!

Anyway... tomorrow I will see if I can break the laziness of these two lazy people, and we will see the two lazy people compete in badminton. The loser will wear the crown.... the crown of LAZINESS!!!!

(Now wouldn't it be funny if they both beat me..... then I would be the laziest person in the world..... but it's NOT going to happen!)

Rooster? What happened to reindeer? Hmmm.... let me think.... perhaps I have more proof of the madness of this family, but I now have a rooster called Rudolf!!!! And we also have a hen called Queenie!!!! Yes, the mad family has once again increased its amount of pets, and I feel VERY HAPPY!!!!

(no jokes about eating my chickens.... ok?????)

And the other crazy thing..... it snowed a few minutes ago! SNOW!!!! I love Woodend... it rules! SNOW!!! :) :)

And I always said if it wants to get all cold and evil, it might as well snow to make the cold slightly enjoyable.

Anyway..... my feet are freezing off, and I have to go sit in front of the fire.... bye peoples!
