The random rant of a bored Shelfnut

Ok peoples.... I have a feeling this might become a VERY LONG rant about NOTHING.... but hey, I might find some inspiring topic and rant about SOMETHING, or lots of somethings. Bleh-ness, see what boredom does to a person? I even started doing other people's homework for them! In classics, we were supposed to find pictures of scenes in the Iliad, and I started finding stuff for Leia (a.k.a. Nicole), Marcus and even my classics teacher, although I was too late to give it to her because I couldn't print them off. Can you believe it!? Why? That is the question I kept asking myself, but I suppose it all turned out well, because during my selfless search on other people's behalf, I found more pictures for my book and now I have 3!!! (and we were only supposed to get 2..... but that doesn't matter)
Wah! I want a different avatar, because I found a really cool picture of 'the evenstar' that Arwen wears around her neck. It looks sooooooo cool!!!!! I want one! And I found a Lord of the Rings 'One Ring' (of which there are surely millions.....) and I want it, but I don't know if I have enough money (I think the price I saw showed American dollars, and I don't have enough money for that, but if it showed Australian dollars then I could buy it..... how sad) but it looks so COOL!!!!!!!!! So unlike the one i have now, with the gold fading off it and the writing hardly legible..... oh well, I shouldn't complain. There was one ring that you can get that shows letters only after it's been in the fire.... but it's about $500! The unfairness of it!!!!
While on the topic of Lord of the Rings (did I hear someone ask, 'when has she ever got off the topic of Lord of the Rings'?), I can happily say that I have a first edition book by Tolkien!!!!!!! It's not a famous book, unfortunately, but it's still first edition. It's a book called 'The Father Christmas Letters' and it's all the letters that Tolkien wrote (pretending to be Father Christmas) to his kids every Christmas. It's really cool, and it has pictures of the actual letters that he wrote, and all the drawing that went along with them. I'm so happy!!! I didn't know it was first edition until yesterday, and ever since I've been going crazy!!!!!!!!! (not that I was sane before, but you know what I mean) One of my mum's friends bought it for me for my birthday a few years ago, but none of us knew it was first edition. Oh, the brilliance of it! It must be framed and looked up to as the king (or queen) of all the books in my house (along with my first edition Harry Potter books..... but Tolkien is better, and less recent, and infinitely more important!!!)
Anyhow...... this rant by Shelfnut must end soon and the Shelfnut must got to sleep.... hopefully I will dream good dreams about Middle Earth and become an elf!
Sadly, this rant started off in e-prime, but ended in normal english..... I have failed my task..... I have failed all attempts at the eradication of the unnamed verb..... alas! The sad verb lives....
